Versatile Blogger Award

I am very late with posting this, and I know it's gone around to quite a few of you already, so I am very sorry if there are any repeats.

Thank you so very much to both Melissa and Amanda for this award. You guys are the best :)

And if you guys haven't already checked out their blogs, please do so now, because they are awesome! :)

So, here are the rules:

1. Thank and link back to the person who gave you this award.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Pass the award along to 15 bloggers who you have recently discovered and who you think are fantastic for whatever reason! (In no particular order...)
4) Contact the bloggers you've picked and let them know about the award

Here goes!

1. I've recently discovered gummy bear vitamins (yes, adults can take them too). Oh. My. God. What brilliant genius came up with this and why didn't they do so sooner?!

2. I am addicted to collecting TV series. I am currently trying to find all of my favorites from when I was young - I have: Saved by the Bell, Full House, Reba, Dukes of Hazzard & Mr. Bean to name a few.

3. We used to have budgies and they laid millions of eggs--that actually hatched! We didn't sleep for months because they sang all night (AND all day).

4. One of the things I look forward to the most on vacation is the FOOD.

5. I've never attended a Writer's Conference and I really, really want to. Can't wait for WriteOnCon!)

6. I used to be OBSESSED with origami - if you name it, I probably could have folded it.

7. Sadly, I can't remember the last time I got enough sleep or didn't feel tired (even with all the energy I get from those gummy bear vitamins!).

And I shall now pass this award on to these fabulous bloggers:

3. Simon @ Constant Revision
5. Lindsay @ Adventures in Writing
6. Aubrie @ Flutey Words...
8. Bekah @ Mrs. Bekah K
9. Sierra @ Sierra Godfrey
15. Regina @ Regina Rhythm

The gummy vitamins are pretty good. I just found a vitamins that has caffeine in it too. That's pretty awesome.

Go to a writers conference. Sometimes they are awful, sometimes that are awesome. Either way it's a great learning experience and worth the travel time.

"see" you at writeoncon

Congratulations on your award and I loved reading the seven things about yourself. All those budgie eggs hatching was fascinating to me!

Never had gummie bear vitamins. I used to watch the Gummie Bears cartoon though...it seems cruel to eat those cute things. :)

Congrats on Versatility!!

- Gummy vitamins are awesome. I do a lot of the Vit C chews. They're tasty lil orange things.

- I'm going to my first writer's conference this fall for World Fantasy Con. It's nearby this year in Columbus, OH, so I don't want to miss it. I'll post more on my blog about it as it gets closer, but if any of my blogger friends end up going, I totally want to meet up and do lunch!

Thanks for the award! Gummy bear vitamins sound great! I used to eat Flintstone vitamins as a kid.

Gummie bear vitamins? For adults??? I've GOT to get me some of those!!!

OH MAN! I love gummy bear vitamins. No joke! They are the best thing to ever be invented by man. I might even like them more than I like electricity.....

Okay, maybe not, but its a close one.

I`m impressed you didn`t kill the budgies! I might have if they never shut up like that!

I`m so stoked for writeoncon as well.

can you fold a lion?

Aww, thanks, WritingNut! And you're very welcome!

My brother takes those gummy bear vitamins, and I sneak one every now and again. They taste just like candy! It's awesome! :O

Nice list!

Awww . . . thanks! So nice of you to choose me. :)

Conferences are the best. Hope you get to go to one soon. :)

I can't wait for WriteOnCon as well! So exciting :)

Congrats on the award!

Erinn - I've never had caffeine vitamins before. I really hope to get to a Conference soon.

Jai - Thank you so much! Yes, it was pretty crazy.

Hannah - You've got to try them! Gummie Bears? I've got to google that one - I've only watched Care Bears. And thank you :)

Mesmerix - That would be totally cool. It would be so great and weird to finally meet our online writer friends!

Aubrie - You're welcome! I used to love the Flinstone ones too!

Zoe - Aww, thank you! It was so hard to come up with the 7.

Justine - YES--I couldn't believe it either. They're the best thing ever!

Melissa - Hahah - thank you - it took a lot of restraint on my part, but they were so cute ;). A lion, I'm trying to remember - I'm pretty sure I did. I had a whole book of animals and I made the entire zoo once - little miniature animals.

Amanda - I know - that's the best part - they taste nothing like vitamins :D.

Janet - You're very welcome. I hope I do too.

Jemi - Thank you! I know, I'm counting the days :)

Aw shucks...thanks for the award! I really do appreciate it. Congrats to you for being awarded it yourself and to the fellow recipients.

As far a television series go, I own Night Stalker, Twin Peaks, Firefly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. :)

Why, thank you, good lady. I appreciate your thinking of me! You're too kind, I say. Too kind by far.

I've never been to a writers' conference either, but I'm hoping to have a first draft of my novel done in time for World Fantasy Convention in October. *fingers crossed*

And not sleeping enough is pretty much par for the course for writers. Yeah. :)

WritingNut said...

DL - You're very welcome! And thank you for your kind wishes. Ahh.. Buffy--another one I need to add to my collection.

Simon - Why, you're quite welcome, good Sir ;). Good luck with finishing - I'm sure you'll get there! I'm so jealous of all you people attending these conventions.

Julie - aw, thank you!

Ohlala! Thanks for passing on the award!

Gummy vitamins are great! I started taking Flinstones when I was pregnant and haven't stopped. They're way better than adult vitamins!

WritingNut said...

Stephanie - You're welcome! I agree - they are soooo much better :)

Sierra Godfrey said...

Awwww thanks for the award, that's so cool!! (even if I have to share it with my nemesis.)

You couldn't have known this, but gummy bear vitamins are QUITE the staple in my house. In fact, the small people in my house regularly demand them, even though they know full well that they are only dispensed after dinner.

WritingNut said...

Sierra - I realized it after! I'm sorry, but you're both so deserving! ;) I think it's safe to officially say now that gummy bears RULe!

Shannon Whitney Messenger said...

Aw. *sniffles* Thank you so much. Really. I feel so honored. *chokes up* *runs away before anyone boos this pitiful acceptance speech*
