Moving in the Write Direction

It's Friday!! I feel like this week would never end - mainly because I am uber excited. About what, you ask?

I am going to WRITE this weekend.

I mean, actually (re) start and work on my MS. And while I know most of you are already doing this everyday, because--well, that's what we're supposed to be doing, I haven't been. *Hangs head in shame*

I've done my little exercise, my characters are ready and I'm just going to STARt. If I wait until I do a plot outline, etc., I'll keep changing things, and end up going backwards.

So this entire weekend will be dedicated to writing.

On a side note, I am also toying with a few ideas for weekly features (to be revealed in the next little while, so stay tuned :) )

How about you? What are your plans for the weekend? Do they involve writing?

Regardless, I hope you have a great one :)

Good luck with your writing this weekend! I have today off, so I'm writing up a storm today. :)

Thank you so much for the comment on my blog! :) Character profiling is a little tedious at first, but after a couple times you realize that they're actually really helpful. :D

My plans for the weekend consist of packing for my trip to China on Tuesday. XD I plan on taking journaling up again; I took a break from that but after the past few months I've realized I really really miss it.

Best of luck on writing!! Tell your characters I say hello. :P

Ooh, these weekly features sound very interesting. Can't wait to see!

I've been peeking around your blog and really like I'm seeing so far, so I've decided to follow. :) Can't wait to read more!!

Writing and swimming....because it's HOT in Cali. And whatever else :) I love those weekends!

I always try to sneak writing in there, but alas, it often doesn't happen.

*Sigh* I wish I was writing. We've got company coming over and a horse show on Saturday. I'm booked! Boo :-(

Hope you make some good progress!

Well, I HOPE to write this weekend. In between home renovations and all the garden projects I'm sure my wife has for me. Herm....

Also, since it's Father's Day this weekend, I plan on milking that for a long lie on Sunday and perhaps breakfast in bed. :D

My plans probably should involve writing, but we'll see... I'd really like to go swimming, but only if our neighborhood pool is fixed.

I hope YOU have a great weekend writing! Try not to get distracted by blogs like I do.

I will write this weekend. I don't really like where my MS is going but something is better than nothing. Who knows I may end up liking it after all.

It's been so busy this month, I'm really hoping to squeeze in some writing time too. I'll cross my fingers for both of us!

I`m so jealous! You get to write. I have to write a paper, write software for my computer class and start prepping for finals. Next weekend I`m dedicating entirely to writing. I`m so excited.

Writing happens every day for me--& usually at night, too.

I hope you get a lot of writing accomplished this weekend!

Aubrie - Thank you! I hope you make great progress as well :)

Red Angel - You're welcome! Thank you for stopping by mine as well and for your kind words and well wishes. Ooh China - that sounds very exciting--I've always wanted to go. Have a great trip and good luck with your journaling!

Bekah - Sigh - I'm so jealous - Cali is another place on my list to visit. You're so lucky to live there. I hope you have fun!

Janet - Tell me about it!

Justine - It still sounds very eventful, and you might just get unexpectedly inspired! Thank you!

Simon - Um, so it looks like I got way too excited and miscalculated my time and did not account for Sunday *shifty eyes*. Based on that, plans might change a TAD--err.. thank you for the reminder! :D I hope you make a great dent in whatever task you undertake this weekend and get lots of rest. Happy Father's Day!

Amanda - Good luck! And have fun swimming if you do go - I find it so relaxing. Sigh, getting distracted by blogs is like... my life :D.

Lindsay - Thank you! Same to you :)

Chris - You're absolutely right. Best of luck!

Shannon - Aw, thank you - that's very kind of you.

Jemi - I hear you - it has been a crazy month. I hope you make some progress too.

Melissa - Oh man - that really sucks, but good luck with it all (though I'm sure you'll do amazing). And you have next weekend to look forward to :)

Lisa - That is so good - I wish I could be so disciplined. Thank you very much for your kind wishes!

Mohamed - It actually isn't going too badly - I've made SOME progress albeit not significant. Sigh--the distractions - right now I am reading blogs :D. Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind wishes :)

Good for you! I hope you're making lots of progress.

I just got back from a meeting with my critique group, which is always productive. Now I will revise, using their excellent suggestions!
