But I know I'm not the only one.
We're all addicted to something.
I'm addicted to several things.
Writing/Reading
Everything that encompasses the Blogosphere
My computer
My blackberry
Chocolate
Sushi
I can't live without any of them--at the very least--once per week (well, the sushi and chocolate, but the other four - every single day).
You know how some addictions can be a hindrance on day to day life? Well, it's the opposite for me. These things actually keep me going. I feel like I'm lost without them.
Once I forgot my blackberry at home, got all the way to the train station, missed my train, and drove back to get it... because I knew my day would be ruined if it wasn't with me.
Yeah... okay, maybe I'm a little crazy, but hey, we all have our quirks ;)
What are your addictions?

I'm with you on the BlackBerry and the chocolate. I have a love/hate relationship with my BB. It's a distracting little thing that I can't seem to wean myself off of (and do I really want to?)
It's all love with the chocolate, though. :)
Ha! I'm addicted to:
my laptop
social networking
reading
a sweet late-afternoon snack
kissing my daughter
Ugh, I have so many addictions. I may have to do a blog post to follow on your blog post question LOL! Caffeine, technology, Fringe, People magazine. Amusing post today:)
Writing, definitely. And coffee too. Walking is an addiction too, I walk wherever and whenever I can.
Writing, coffee, blogging, reading. Don't take any of them from me, please?
uh, pretty much the same as yours! Except the chocolate. I prefer salty to sweet:)
Chocolate, Crisps, the internet! I like writing, but it often seems like work too, so I wouldn't quite call it an addiction. And I've times where reading is an addiction - but sometimes I'm teetotal. Good post to get us thinking, WritingNut.
Addicted to email, blogger, lemonade, books, and writing! (hate the phone so I'm happy even if I have no idea where it is)
Side note, you get to ride a train every day!? That's so awesome...
Addicted to my blog, to my iphone, to reading, writing, and california rolls (I'm such a fake sushi lover...), and, I'll be honest, I'm kind of addicted to spending time with my cat. I honestly miss her so much just during the day when I'm at school!!!
: P I had a friend who forgot her cell at home and all day she kept telling me about how she felt she was missing a body part.
I couldn't understand what she meant until I got a cell a few years later.
I have a totally adictive personality. I stuggle with moderation in everything. In some cases I have to have none (like chocolate) because if I have a little, I just want more, more, more.
Definitely writing. I'd quit if I could. But I think that's about it.
I'm addicted to bubble baths. There's nothing I love more than sipping a glass of wine while reading the newest books I picked up from the library!
NetFlix
Guitar playing
My iPad
Sex
(Hey, at least I'm honest!)
LOL, Alex!!
Blogging. Emailing. Writing. Reading. Chocolate for sure!! Wine. Hot baths. My new Droid phone. Oh yeah, and fruit. I am strangely always craving it.
My addictions are:
the internet (because that includes the blogosphere/email/forums/search engines/youtube)
reading
sleeping
my duvet
and chocolate (but I'm trying to work on being more reasonable with this one)
Jai
Chocolate, Munchos, hot baths and the Food Channel. I am also a writing addict--hope there's a patch for that. ;-)
It doesn't sound crazy at all, in fact over on my blog I've started 'Bloggers Anonymous', because I'm an addict too! hehe You're welcome to drop by and 'join' the club. It's a bit crazy and a lot of fun! :)
...blogging.
We have a lot in common. I'm addicted to everything on your list except sushi.
Oh, that's easy! I am addicted to traveling ;) after that I think emailing, then drinking red wine or coffee with friends and getting together with my fellow writers for feedback.
Healthy addictions are good ;)

There are many of us in the writers addiction predicament. But it's a lovely place to live in my opinion!
