New Blogging Schedule

Happy Friday Everyone!

So as I mentioned earlier this week, I will be unveiling my new blogging schedule today.

Previously, I tried to post everyday. While I love doing this, it's unfortunately not leaving me much time to anything else... like write my book ;). This will also give me more time to visit all of you too. What can I say... I have a serious addiction, and I can't/won't kick the habit, so I needed to find a compromise.

Thus I've decided to post 3 days a week. Henceforth, I will be blogging on:

Monday
Wednesday
Friday

Thoughts for Thursdays will now be..umm.. something for Wednesdays (Words for Wednesdays?)

There may be the occasional, additional postings when fits of randomness strike (and you know they will).

I'll also do bi-weekly WiP updates on Fridays.

There we have it.

I hope everyone has a fantabulous weekend :D. What are your plans? Anything exciting in the works?

If you call exciting piles of homework.. my weekend is full of it! With a boring break of a trip to the bowling alley with friends for someones birthday - she's pregnant so no drinking!

Anyways, I commend you for a schedule... I'm really inconsistent and just do whenever. Though I'll at least be posting once a week for thursday's now. Because I've made that a thing.

Words for wednesdays is good.

I don't blame you, writingnut. Creative writing can be an intense, tiring activity and it's important to preserve that energy for WIPs. Looking forward to seeing excerpts on your blog once you're comfortable sharing them!

Sounds like a good schedule. I'll be scaling back in November for NaNo.

I've had the same blogging schedule for about a year now. Works a treat because it gives me time to keep up with everyone and get other writing done.

Hope it works out for you!

Good luck with your new schedule.

I hope you're having a good weekend. I saw Kate DiCamillo at the screening over her new movie "Because of Winn Dixie". I went with my critique partner, husband, two kids, and mother and father in law. Kate DiCamillo did a Q&A and was amazing. The movie was a pretty good adaptation.

Today we took a walk to this nice walk to a park at the Cambridge-Boston border.

Am liking the Monday, Wednesday & Friday schedule as that was mine & soon will be again. It's easy to remember & you can also get a lot of people to read your current & past blogs over the weekend.

Looking forward to reading more from you!

Great to have you back, you crazy nut! And great strategy. Sure, getting and keeping your name out there is important. But you wouldn't have a name to maintain if you weren't writing first, right? Devoting too much time to online socializing/networking is like playing in the fire hydrant while your house is on fire. Sure it can be fun, but put the important things first.
