Crusader Welcome and Chocolate

First of all, I would like to say hello and WELCOME to all of the Crusaders and new followers! :)

*Waves HI!*

I spent most of yesterday catching up on my blog list, and following everyone back... if I haven't made it to you as yet, I promise I will soon. I want to make sure I get to everyone, so it will be a short post today.

It's been awesome checking out everyone's blogs and meeting lots of fantastic people. I love how this platform allows us the opportunity to do this. Thank you all for not only showing the love, but for also spreading it around.

For anyone who is not participating in this year's Writer's Platform-Building Crusade, hop on over to Rach's page to check out some fabulous blogs when you have a chance.

On a side note, I have a serious craving for chocolate chip cookies, double chocolate chip cookies, and banana chocolate chip muffins (do you see a trend there?)... hmmmm... yeeeah... since I'm home today, I think I'm going to be spending some quality time in the kitchen too ;)

How was everyone's weekend? Did you do anything new and interesting? Not new? Please share!

Well... I've been approached to do some marketing for books on my blog. :-)

My guest posts are booked up to 27 May...

I'm on the final approach to 300 followers.

And I'm 2/3 of the way throught the crusader list.

*squee!*

Enjoy the chocolate!

Hi. I'm a bit behind myself with all my writerly duties
But I did get through the whole crusader list. That, and getting some writing done, was pretty much my weekend.

It's been great meeting everybody, now I've gotta get back on track. :)

Good work on getting caught up on all of those crusaders! I'm seeing that the people who are participating have many more followers than they did before. Plus it sounds like so much fun:)

The Crusaders idea does sound like fun--I'll have to check out some of the sites.

As for fun this weekend? Been visiting family we don't see too often, so all has been fun. Making good memories...

Have a great week!

Lol! I still need to work on following everyone on the Crusader list! It's tons of fun though :)

I like meeting other writers through blogs too. When I meet someone at a conference after following each other, it always feels like we've already met!

I have a blog award for you. :)

P.S. - Yum on the snackage!

I am trying to catch up with all the Crusaders and follow. Spent my weekend getting over the flu. Sounds like you had fun day of chocolaty kitchen time! Heavenly!

Wow! This sounds like an awesome idea...sadly she says that she won't be taking any more Crusaders this time around, but this seems like a fantastic blogging event and I'd love to participate in the future. :)

Ok, so I have to confess, I only came by for a visit because I read the word chocolate. Hope your cookies are delicious.

My weekend was busy and I loved it. I ate a lot of cake (which in itself makes my weekend a success), spent time with friends, worked, and didn't sleep much.

The crusader list is definitely a long one! It's been brilliant though. Hmm, chocolate. Love it.

I went to a writers conference at BYU in Provo, Utah and came away with a good dose of renewed enthusiasm.
Have a great week, and enjoy your chocolate. :)

If I give you my address, will you overnight some chocolate chip cookies to me? And, could you dip some Midol in chocolate and send that too? :)

This crusade is making blogging a challenge. So many new blogs to follow!

This weekend, I visited Harvard Square with my in-laws and someone was selling Girl Scout cookies at the T. I got 2 boxes of Samoans (or whatever name they have now).

Hope you get your cookies!

Rachel is so awesome to host this crusade. I'll be gone for a month of it, so I didn't join, but I think it's very cool.

Oh wow, I wish I had seen this post on Crusaders when it came out. This is just the thing I've been looking for.
There are so many awesome blogs out there and I wish I could make the time to comment on them all everyday. Le sigh.

At a meeting yesterday I spread peanut butter on the flat side of a chocolate chip cookie. Got everyone going on it. Happy-times-good-meeting-having! Did anything else happen? Did it matter?

Enjoy the chocolates and save some for me, or better still have them for me.

Cravings are strange. I went from chocolate to pasta.

Have a great weekend.

Cookies....just catching up on my blog reading, the weekend was full of chores and helping the kids get caught up on their homework and a little bit of writing for me.

Well last weekend I finished the Crusader list! Finally - it felt like a mammoth impossible task but now I can tick it off the list. Oh, and I did more procrastinating - and made a pearl and lapis lazuli bracelet and necklace. You make a good point - at least my procrastination is pretty!

Oh man, I bet your kitchen smells like chocolate heaven about now! YUM!

My weekend, I worked on my query letter (ugg), and my synopsis (double ugg), then for some real fun, I mopped the stupid floor. :) And I did sneak in lunch at Olive Garden yesterday.

I thought I'd finished following people, but I still haven't. Nice to meet you. I'm sure I'll be dropping in on you again.
